Progressive Blackjack™

This is a variation on standard Blackjack that features a progressive sidebet. We offer six deck Blackjack. If you are not familiar with Blackjack, you may want to look at the Progressive Blackjack™ Rules first.

To play the game:

• Click on a chip to select it. Click on the available hand positions (the circles arranged in a semicircle on the table). Every click increases your bet by the value of the selected chip. Bets can be placed on any of the hands to play on only one or up to five hands simultaneously. To decrease your bet, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and simulteneously click on the bet to decrease it by the value of the selected chip.
• You can click Clear Bets to remove all bets from the table.
• Clicking Double doubles the bets you have placed on the table.
• The minimum and maximum bet limits on each hand are dependent on your VIP level and are shown on the table. The limits apply to the initial bet only. Actions (such as Split, etc.) that require an additional bet can still be used even if you placed a bet equal to the maximum bet.
• Click the Deal button to deal the cards. Two cards are dealt to the player and the dealer hands. The cards are dealt one by one to each hand in turns, with the first card going to the player hand. The last card goes to the dealer hand and is dealt face down.
• If you are playing more than one hand, actions are taken for each hand separately, starting from the right-most hand.
• If the dealer’s face up card is an Ace, you are offered insurance. Click the Insurance button to insure against the dealer having Blackjack.
• Use the Hit, Stand, Double and Split buttons as required.
• Please note that Insurance, Double and Split require an additional bet. If your balance does not have enough money to cover these expenses, you will need to deposit more money to use these options.
• The dealer reveals the face down card and draws additional cards according to the rules.
• Your hand is compared to the dealer’s hand.
• If you want to play another round, click New Game. Then place bets as described above or click Rebet to place the same bet as in the previous round and then click Deal to deal the cards. Click Rebet and Deal to place the same bets as in the last round and deal cards immediately.

Progressive Blackjack™ Side Bet

In this game you have the option of making an additional bet to try and win a jackpot. Click on the coin slit above the bet area to place the side bet. The blinking light above the slit will turn green. The cost of the side bet is shown next to the coin slit after placing the side bet. If you get a winning card combination as described in the Progressive paytable, you get an additional payout.

The highest progressive payout is the progressive jackpot and is won upon receiving four consecutive Aces of the same suit and starting from the first card in the hand. Note that all progressive wins require that the card combinations (one to four Aces) are consecutive and starting from the first card in the hand. These wins are awarded at the end of the game round, and if you’ve split your hand, they are charged and calculated separately for each of the new hands. At the top of the screen is the progressive jackpot ticker, which shows the jackpot amount that you can win.

The Progressive paytable is displayed in the game when you click on Show Paytable on the left side of the screen, just under the ticker that shows the current size of the jackpot.

Jackpot Fund

The progressive jackpot fund is composed of two parts – the seed and the progressive pot. The jackpot fund begins at the seed value, which is the guaranteed minimum amount of prize money contributed by the casinos. This ensures that even if you get a jackpot result in the game right after someone else has won the jackpot, you will still get a large win.

The rest of the jackpot amount comes from a progressive share, which is accumulated over time based on the bets that are made within the game. A small amount of money is added into the progressive pot for each bet that is made in the game by the players, in each of the casinos offering it, equal to a percentage of that bet (called the contribution rate).

Please note:

• The mechanics of the game prohibit simultaneous jackpot winnings. If two players win the jackpot in close succession, the first player will be awarded the seed and the progressive pot, and the second player will win the seed together with any possible progressive share that has accumulated between the two wins.
• In some games you have to make a specific bet to be eligible for the Jackpot.
• If you get disconnected in the middle of a game round, your game does not change the value of the Jackpot. The state of the game up to that point is remembered by the casino; the next time you log in you can finish your game round with the same odds and without placing a new bet.
• If a Jackpot is being discontinued (a game is closed and removed from the casino client), you will be notified of it by the casino.

The Jackpot for this game works like this:

Seed (how much money the Jackpot starts out with):	50 000 x your jackpot bet size.
Contribution rate (how much money is added to the Jackpot for each bet, in relation to the bet size):	3%
Win condition (the result you have to get to win the Jackpot):	Four consecutive aces of the same suit, starting from the 1 st card in the hand.
Win requirements (what you need to do to be eligible for the Jackpot):	Place the jackpot bet.

Multihand:

You can also play this game in Multihand mode. Select “Multihand” in the casino lobby when starting the game. You can play with up to five hands simultaneously. Place bets by clicking on the different bet areas. You can play one hand only if you wish, or any number of hands up to five. Every hand may have a different bet amount.

Return to Player

The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 99.53% on the main game.
The RTP on the Progressive side bet is 94.85%.

Blackjack Rules

The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards at their face value.

If you receive an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack and win 1.5 times your bet (if your bet was 10, you receive 25). If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win your bet amount (if your bet was 10, you receive 20). If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and automatically lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 to 21) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. Blackjack beats a score of 21.

Our Blackjack follows the standard “Las Vegas Strip” rules, with the following exceptions:

• After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
• The player may not split a split hand.
• Only one card is drawn to split aces.
• The player may double after splitting.
• The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.
• The dealer draws an additional card when the total of the dealer’s cards is 16 or less and stands when the total is 17 or greater (including soft 17s). The dealer does not draw when the player is “bust”.
• If the player doubles and the dealer’s first card is of value 11 (ACE), and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If the dealer’s first card is of value 10, and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player gets the Double bet back.

Split

If your first two cards have the same value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You will then draw additional cards to each hand. You may draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one additional card for each ace. If you receive an ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack.

Double

If, after you are dealt your first two cards, you think that the third card will allow you to beat the dealer’s hand, you can double your bet. The bet amount becomes twice the original (with the difference taken out of your balance), and you are dealt one more card.

Insurance

If the dealer shows an Ace in his initial hand, you are given a chance to insure your bet against him having a Blackjack. If you get Insurance, an amount equal to half your original bet is placed separately on the table. If the dealer does have Blackjack, you are paid 2 to 1 on your insurance. This way you do not lose your original bet (because you get the 2x half your original bet, plus the insurance amount back). If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount.

10 Card Charlie

It is theoretically possible for the player to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the player’s hand automatically wins, except when the dealer has Blackjack.
10 Card Charlie is also applicable on a split hand.

Split	Split the hand into two.
New Game	Start a new game round.
Rebet	Place the same bet as in the previous round.
Rebet and Deal	Place the same bet as in the previous round and deal the cards.
