PDC Media Release – Premier League’s Rotterdam Double-Header Postponed
PREMIER LEAGUE’S ROTTERDAM DOUBLE-HEADER POSTPONED
The Premier League double-header at Rotterdam Ahoy which was scheduled for March 25-26 is the latest PDC event to be postponed due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
Three PDC European Tour events planned for Germany during March and April were postponed earlier this week due to restrictions put in place by regional federal governments.
On Thursday, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced that all gatherings of more than 100 people were to be prevented in the Netherlands until at least March 31.
The PDC will work with Rotterdam Ahoy to secure new dates to stage the Premier League nights, with further announcements to be made in due course.
Fans who have tickets for either Premier League night in Rotterdam will be entitled to retain the tickets for the equivalent new dates or to receive a full refund. Details will be finalised in due course and ticket buyers will be contacted by email to the email address which is registered to their booking.
At present, the Unibet Premier League’s other nights are not subject to any restrictions. However, the PDC will continue to liaise with the relevant authorities and any updates will be issued at pdc.tv/Coronavirus.
