Anger and disbelief as Justin Sun TRON blows $4,567,888 to pay for lunch

Justin Sun had been building up for a massive announcement in his usual hype-master style. Biggest thing for crypto… amazing for TRX and BTT… you know the drill by now. A cheeky pre-announcement or twelve over the past days. Interspersed with some Liverpool FC references in case anyone had forgotten his last big announcement was actually just a spam email from Liverpool FC marketing department.

So it started… some people believed.

It got better… some people got excited.

We waited.

And waited.

And then………… we got the big reveal…….

“I officially announce I’ve won the record-setting 20th-anniversary charity lunch hosted by @WarrenBuffett. I’ll also invite #blockchain industry leaders to meet with a titan of investment. I hope this benefits everyone. #TRON #TRX #BTT #BitTorrent”

The one good thing is that the close to 4.6 million dollars the Tron community paid for this lunch is going to charity. So fair play on that score at least.
