Is this the end for Slotty Vegas and Betat in the UK?

MaxEnt casinos

The UK Gambling Commission has revoked the licence of Maxent who operate the casinos Slotty Vegas and Betat Casino here in the UK.

According to the UKGC, they were not satisfied that it would have been given the operating licence to the licensee had the new controller been a controller of the company when the licence was made.

Put simply, a new owner has not been deemed suitable by the UKGC to take control of the licence therefore it has been revoked.

The commission state that they were not satisfied with the source of funds used to acquire and support the licensee at the time of, and following, the change of corporate control.

The UKGC also stated that they had concerns with the new controllers suitability in that he had provided conflicting information and was not full and frank when dealing with the UKGC.

What does this mean for players? Well as of June 18th it appears that they will no longer be licenced to provide services to UK players so we would strongly recommend any players to ensure they stop playing there by this time.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation and post any further updates for players on our Twitter channel, which you can follow here.
